Beverly
A. Lujan, a certified
speech-language pathologist,
has specialized in accent
reduction for more than
20 years. Her desire to
specialize in this field
was sparked by her studies
in phonetics, linguistics,
voice, and articulation.
She holds B.S. and M.S.
degrees in Speech-Language
Pathology from the University
of Utah and has completed
additional American English
phonology and linguistics
studies at San Diego State
University. |

Lujan's strong training,
sensitivity to the needs
of non-native speakers,
creativity, and expertise
at training voice and articulation
account for her high success
rate in helping clients
and students achieve their
speech/communication goals.
She has coached thousands
of non-native speakers from
around the world individually
and in groups. Her clients
include a wide range of
professionals from such
fields as business, technology,
medicine, law, and public
relations (learners of English
for Specified Purpose, ESP).
She provides the same high
quality coaching long-distance

Ms. Lujan founded the Lingual Arts
School in Salt Lake City to conduct courses and seminars on
accent reduction for corporate, government, and educational clients.
She has supervised university graduate students in their practicum training
to teach speech skills to ESL learners.
